Master Classes with Dante Puleio
ABOUT DANTE
Dante Puleio is a Jersey Boy. He began dancing shortly after learning how to walk. He didn't begin training though until he was 19 years old in London, UK at the Laban Centre. While abroad in London he was afforded the opportunity to dance with members of the Royal Ballet, then continued his training at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds, UK. In 1999 he graduated with a BFA from University of the Arts in Philadelphia where he danced with Koresh Dance Co., Brian Sanders of JUNK, and Pennsylvania Ballet Theatre. Upon graduation, he moved to NYC and danced with Carolyn Dorfman, Gabriel Masson and the Limon Dance Company.
After several years with Limon, he took a hiatus to explore his first love, musical theatre, and performed in Broadway shows such as The Who's Tommy and The Wizard of Oz, as well as getting involved with commercial and industrial work with Tony Stevens and Jason Robert Brown. Before rejoining Limon in 2008 he danced with his step mom on Lifetime TV's dance competition Your Mama Don't Dance
with choreographer, Marguerite Derricks, where Ben Vereen told him, "I love watching you dance, its so delicious, it feels like butter."
Now with Limon, he is a principal and soloist. He spends most of the year rehearsing and touring with the company as well as setting Limon work and holding residencies as a teacher and choreographer with dance schools, universities and companies in North, Central, and South America as well as Europe and Asia.

Giving our dancers the opportunity to be enriched and shaped by many dance professionals expands their movement experience and inspires them to improve their dancing to greater heights. Through workshops, mini camps, master classes, and choreography sessions, our dancers learn from some of the best role models in the industry. Hiring guest instructors is one way Dance Magic works to give our dancers a great dance education.
How to Register for Master Classes with Dante Puleio at Dance Magic:
-Fill out the Master Class Participation Form and turn it in with full payment to Dance Magic. Form and payment can be mailed or dropped off at the studio. Space is limited in each class; sign up early to ensure you have a spot! Dancers who PAY first will secure a spot.

Information about these Master Classes:
-$20 cost covers the entire day (as many master classes as the dancer is eligible for). Cost at the door is $25.
-Required for Dance Magic Elite Majestics, Senior Majestics, and Advanced Ballet dancers.
-Dancers should be at Intermediate to Advanced dance ability level. Dancers should have a basic understanding of ballet terminology (plié, degagé, tendu, battement, etc.) to participate.
-Master classes are open to ALL dancers, no matter which studio or school they dance at. We are just excited to have such a brilliant dance professional coming to Cedar City and we want to share in his wealth of knowledge!
-Ballet Master Class is for Intermediate to Advanced students 11 years & up and Adults. Please make sure you have great ballet technique and you really are at Intermediate or Advanced ballet level. Adults and Teachers are strongly encouraged to participate.
-Int/Adv Contemporary Master class for Adults is encouraged for all Adults, Teachers, College students, and pre-professionals.
